Re-igniting our peer groups

Join our peer groups

LGBTI Living Well program is relaunching peer groups for the community.

Starting with a group specifically for transwomen, transfemmes, and those questioning their gender identity. The group will be gently facilitated by Larz, a counsellor at NTAHC, and Forest, the Living Well coordinator.

The aim is to create a safe, welcoming, and gender-affirming space where members can support each other through the various aspects of transition, share experiences, and connect. At the initial meeting, participants will have the chance to discuss what they hope the group will provide and help shape its future direction.

The group will remain flexible, adapting to the needs and desires of its members.

Potential activities include social connections, health and wellbeing discussions, access to resources, and skill-sharing, such as makeup tutorials. The group is open to adults of all ages, and members are encouraged to come as they are.
